Allegheny Outfitters Warren PA Superb retail store & summer time livery on the Allegheny River from Kinzua Dam to Tionesta PA. They have canoes, kayaks, and lots of outdoor gear for non power boating, hiking, backpacking etc. They have some limited fishing equipment available for rent (no fly fishing gear) Included in the store is a special trip planning room with USGS maps of the entire area for sale, some 3D models of most popular areas of the National Forest trail system, as well as other trip planning information. Their website also provides up to date information on Allegheny River water conditions for boaters and fishers. Westline Inn is a unique establishment located 20 miles south of Bradford, PA and about 34 miles east of Warren just off State Route 219. The Inn is along Kinzua Creek just downstream of a special regulations trout water that provides trout fishing opportunities year around. The Inn has superb dining opportunities as well as a rustic bar. Rooms are also available. This is one of my favorite venues for private lessons. |
