The Fly Fishing Coach schools 100 through 103 are group classes of 4 to 8 students that provide you with a very thorough knowledge and skill base to begin fly fishing on your own.   Courses 100 and 101 are extensive introductory schools; 100 covering the knowledge of fly fishing such as equipment and aquatic insects; and 101 covering the physical skills of fly casting and line handling.  Course 102 is a full day class covering the essential material in both 100 and 101.  Course 103 takes the knowledge and skills of the previous courses and applies them to actual situations on a local trout stream.  

Nymph Fishing Strategies in Depth is sponsored by the Warren/Forest Higher Education Council.  We will spend a couple hours of classroom and on the lawn practice and then go on-stream putting new skills into practice.

Private Lessons offer the ultimate in a learning experience.  You will have my full attention as your personal coach.  I can spend the time to answer all your questions and tailor the lesson to your individual needs.  We waste no time on aspects of flyfishing you already know and can focus on where you want to be in your fly fishing adventure.  Private lesson format can be given for up to 4 anglers.

Guided On-Stream Instruction offers the intermediate and advanced angler an opportunity to focus on improving or learning new techniques to enhance their current knowledge.  Offered as a 4 hour session for 1 to 4 anglers.  Skills such as nymphing, casting on small streams, double hauling, long distance casting, fly selection, or streamside insect identification, when intensely studied, often pay big dividends in increasing fishing success and enjoyment.  Please call to book one of these sessions.  Keep checking the school schedule above, as I periodically will offer a specific workshop/clinic for open enrollment.
