Schools are larger group classes (6-12) that provide you with a very thorough knowledge and skill base to begin fly fishing on your own.   Both Introduction to Fly Fishing and Casting Clinics are offered.  After taking the introductory fly fishing school, where only a brief introduction to casting is offered, the novice fly casting clinic is highly recommended.  Here you will spend several hours learning critical fly casting  and line handling skills.  The fly casting clinics are also a great refresher for experienced anglers as well.

Private Lessons offer the ultimate in a learning experience.  You will have my full attention as your personal coach.  I can spend the time to answer all your questions and tailor the lesson to your individual needs.  We waste no time on aspects of flyfishing you already know and can focus on where you want to be in your fly fishing adventure.  Private lesson format can be given for up to 4 anglers.

Guided On-Stream Instruction offers the intermediate and advanced angler an opportunity to focus on improving or learning new techniques to enhance their current knowledge.  Offered as a 4 hour session for 1 to 4 anglers.  Skills such as nymphing, casting on small streams, double hauling, long distance casting, fly selection, or streamside insect identification, when intensely studied, often pay big dividends in increasing fishing success and enjoyment.  Please call to book one of these sessions.  Keep checking the school schedule above, as I periodically will offer a specific workshop/clinic for open enrollment.
